http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/don_banks/07/28/pre-camp-rankings/index.html Of course Patriots are #1, because 124's boyfriend is back. Steelers are second. We are 15. Alot of folks just stick us in the middle of the pack, and i understand why. we start winning, we will move up fast. We start losing, we will sink "schedule is tought and no more gimmicks, blah blah blah) Jets are 17. One more thing we beat them at
At least this one has us ahead of the Bills. That's the only thing that has bothered me about these rankings. Rank us at 31 as far as I'm concerned, just as long as we're ahead of the Bills.
It's rankings which mean nothing but one guys opionion but how someone could list the pats as number one when they missed the playoffs without brady, him coming off of a serious injury is anyone's guess. Yes they could be great, or they could have a miserable season. We all know brady effects that team, and everyone is waiting to see what he will respond with. Until then, he hasn't proven anything so far this year, how can you rate them 1 based on that. He would have to be 100% sure brady's return will be as it was before he was injured. And judging the Steelers are the defending champs, have a very well rounded solid team, putting the pats ahead of the steelers really shows how much of a homer Banks is, he'll be so devastated when things aren't all rosey in Pats land this year
all addicts have an excuse. I wouldnt be shocked if the Browns end up with a better record than the Jets. He's a scape goat, and not nearly as awful as scorned Jet fans think. The problem with the Jets were the owner and over-paid FAs laying down in December.
At this point #15 does not seem that bad to me, particularly since he has us #2 in the division. I do hope that we will finish a lot better than that.
I just can't put much credence into these things, too many unknowns. They are only worth the paper (or website) they're written on. JMHO.
That deadspin article is great, zeke. If I weren't on my phone I would give you a. Thanks button click.
Does anyone else laugh at the reasoning behind the Cowboys being ranked where they are? And so they shall. Of course!
