Not that it really matters, bc Bama gets a chance at UF as long as they keep winning, but does anyone else think it strange that Bama got jumped when on a Bye?
I'm not sure how that happens, I've seen it before. If you don't even play a game, you have no way to defend your spot in the polls.
I have seen it before too, just think it is kind of crappy. Not sure it matters, if Bama beats LSU (they should) then they jump back over Texas, IMO.
They didn't earn points and Texas did by winning. It all works out because they play the same amount of games (mostly).
This is the first year when the BCS championship path seems to be clearcut . Perhaps its by design but from the very beginning of the season it was predictable that the winner of the SEC championship which everyone knew would be either/or Alabama or Florida would meet Texas in the championship game. Its kind of boring really .A playoff system would be more interesting IMO.
I think its either Florida/Alabama vs Texas in the National title game. The loser of the SEC title game will no doubt play Boise or TCU. If refs win out they will play the Ducks in the rose. I think Ohio St plays LSU in the Capital One bowl.
LSU has a great chance to beat Alabama this week and South Caroina could beat the Gators when they play so this is not as clear cut as it might seem. LSU is a much bigger test than South Carolina but it will be an interesting game.
You're right and given how closely contested games have been against Bama nothing is guaranteed vs them. As a College football fan though I want to see Bama vs Florida.
As a college football fan I want to see the two best teams in the SEC in the SEC Championship game and I would not be shocked if its LSU not Alabama
