Bears LB Brian Urlacher Out for Season

a wrist injury keeping a Chicago Bear MLB out for a whole season? what is this world coming too?

 

He can't seem to catch a break.

 

I have a metal plate and screws in my left wrist from a similar injury a couple years ago.

In that report they mentioned Derrick Brooks as a possible replacement, as well as possibly moving Briggs; what about Zach?

I think he was just saying it can get pretty serious.

I hate hearing this as he is an Alumni brother.

How much does this change the Bears season in a very tough Division?

 

I'd imagine they'd move Pisa Tinoisiama (sp?) to the MIKE spot because he played some of it in St. Louis now and then have Hunter Hillenmeyer back at SOLB or at least that's where I think he played.

 

Hugely, both in the running game and passing game, not to mention the leadership and playcalling aspects.

George Smith, of ESPNews, reports Chicago Bears LB Hunter Hillenmeyer will replace injured LB Brian Urlacher (wrist) at middle linebacker, while LB Lance Briggs and LB Pisa Tinoisamoa will remain as the outside linebackers.

I'm not quite sure this is the right move but I guess this is what they have decided for now. I always thought of Tinoisamoa is more of a WOLB anyways but we shall see. No doubt a huge blow to the bears.
