Anyone been watching this game? Been a pretty good one... It's going into overtime after a blocked field goal by Chicago... They really want this one it looks like.

Loved the coin toss off Urlacher's helmet.

This was my first game watched on my new HDTV. What a beaut!

Why in the heck do you wait until the 4th quarter to use Forte more? Stop running the ball right up the middle!! Geez. And Orton is not that much better than Grossman, sorry, without a solid QB they will never get over that hump.

This game is proof that the Packers are losing because of the 52 players not named Aaron Rodgers. Time for that canard to stop.

Skip Bayless says Brett Favre's presence alone makes a team better.

The only complaint with Rogers is that he isnt a great finisher right now. But aside from that, its mostly been the defense letting the team down late in games this year, not to mention the dissapearance of Grant and the rushing game. Think the Pack need to add a passrush and some OL help in the offseason.

I disagree with this. Note that he led the Packers down into field goal range at the end of that game. It's not Rodgers' fault that the Pack's special teams unit considered blocking to be optional on that last attempt.

Hes had a few late game mistakes and misses, but overall its a small thing compared to his overall performace. It wouldnt have mattered if the ST and D didnt consistently have late game collapses as well. He has consistently put some good points on the board, taken leads etc.

I consider Rogers one of the better young QBs in the game, hes played very well this season, and I certainly dont think having Brett Favre would have given them a better record ... maybe worse.

Exactly. I would blame the defense first and foremost, followed by Ryan Grant's complete and total disappearance (one year wonder, anyone?), then McCarthy, then the special teams. Fix those then we'll see if Rodgers' mistakes are team-killers. Somehow I doubt it.

The little secret of the 2007 Packers is not that Brett Favre had some kind of re-emergence, but that the team as a whole played well. They're not playing well this year. Remember, Brett Favre is the reason why the Packers didn't go to the Super Bowl last year.

Skip Bayless is one of the worst sports annalists I have ever heard. I have never heard that man say one thing that was even intelligent.

LOL I know he makes moronic statements on a regular basis I was being sarcastic when I posted that.

Green Bay would have sucked with or without Favre.
