Did anyone else watch this game? What a great game. Griese threw for over 400 yards and had over 60 attempts! Great game. Unfortunately for the Bears they self imploded late, the penalty on Tillman prob. cost the Bears the game, IMO.
He'll get fined for it though, I'm sure. Some of them linemen are meaner and nastier then the guys coming at them. I cant remember his name but remember last yr I think it was Gurode, stepped on the dude's eye?
I was rooting for Griese that game. And he helped out my fantasy roster too. Shame we couldn't keep him over Jay or that 2nd rounder we gave up for Feeley.
He would have stunk up the joint though. He's a system QB. He fits perfect in a west coast. IMO he works best in no huddle offenses.
Well, it's not like his arm is any weaker than Pennington's. But he did ok for us and would've been better if Wade Smith didn't make turnstiles look like HOF blockers. Couldn't be any worse than Feeley or Fiedler the year he went to Tampa.
