It took three more weeks than the fans would have liked, but they will finally get to see the man believed to be Miami's quarterback of the future Sunday afternoon when the Dolphins (0-11) host the New York Jets (2-9) at Dolphin Stadium.

Rookie John Beck will make his third NFL start and his first at home against Miami's AFC East rival, and after getting baptized into the pros in arguably two of the toughest places to play (Philadelphia and Pittsburgh) and in some of the worst weather and field conditions imaginable, the 26-year-old is ready to show what he can do under optimal conditions.
