Don't know if this is much of a business service that I can offer, but I would like to offer my services, nonetheless.

    Raul Escarpio, Ed.S.
Teacher of Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilties
Adjunct Faculty, University of Miami / Miami Dade College

    scarp (at) mac (dot) com

Masters of Science in Special Education (I am presently getting my doctorate in Special Education).

Concentration in Early Childhood and Children with Emotional/Behavioral Disorders.

If you need some advice on how to manage your child's behavior or are having difficulty with their behavior in school/home, I might be able to help.

BTW, your child does not need to have "special" needs to get help. :wink2:

Additionally, I might be able to help establish some routines in the home.

Rev, I have a 4 year old daughter and she is very sensative and very shy, I worry about this when she starts school in a few months.

I encourage her and compliment her all the time to keep her self esteem up since I have read that is linked to shyness. Any help would be appreciated.

Only because she married you hot stuff...............

This would explain though why rev is always reprimanding me. He must feel I have special needs...........

I don't think of it as reprimanding, lucky. I look at it like modeling appropriate behaviors.

    Although, I'm not a miracle worker. :tongue2:

I'm sure the great Rev would agree with me, but the biggest piece of advice I can offer when dealing with any children is that consistency is key. Be consistent with rewards and punishments/ consequences...

    Absolutely, my friend.

I once had a professor who told me that if you told a child that the next time they did something you were going to throw them out the window, then you better open up the window the next time they do something or else you've lost ALL credibility and that child now knows that you have NO consistency or authority.
