Is that button meant to log the user off when clicked?

If it is meant to log the user out, it doesn't do so successfully. Using the back button on the browser, the previous site page seems to acknowledge you as still logged in.

If it is meant to send you back to the site's "home" page, it does so, but also gives the appearance of logging out the user.
