I've found that juju doesn't have all the non-sense "work from home - get rich quick" garbage on their site. Hope it helps, I see you asked a few months ago.

Check your local colleges' websites, and your local City/County websites they normally post jobs there.

There is also a Federal Website that you can sort of pre apply for jobs on, you fill in your information and they try to match you with jobs as they come open.

    For gub'ment jobs visit USAJOBS - http://www.usajobs.com/

Very slow process I applied for several back in Feb/March and will be starting in August. Helps if you're a vet because you get points for your service and even more if 30% disabled. Some jobs are open to the public, some to only internal candidates/vets. Under each job announcement look under the first block of "who may be considered" so you're not wasting your time. Also if you're a vet in the top right under "current search" click the "all jobs" button, it opens up more available positions that aren't open to the general public.

Glad to see this thread got rolling after being started 5 months ago. Hope all is well with finserg's search and I hope none of my phin bros ever have to use this thread. :wink2:

I'm going to take a look at some of these websites you guys listed that i was unaware of, but the one site I didn't see here that I think is the Facebook of the business world in Linkedin.com.

I've seen so many different jobs listed from basic labor jobs all the way to overseas contract jobs requiring security clearances.

Great site to network. If you do sign up and are interested, PM me and I'll link you to my profile.

Yes, LinkedIn is pretty great and simple, just click Jobs and "Find Jobs" and you can then search. And if you can apply right through LinkedIn, it takes like a minute to apply.(It says "Apply Now" or "Apply on Company Website"). I've found a bunch to apply to on there, more than any other place. There are no garbage or scams there, as the company needs to have a company profile I believe. And sometimes you can see the person who actually posted the job if they put that, so you may be able to message them like a week after applying. And you can "save jobs" so you can easily go back to it. You need a profile, but it's not too hard to create one.

    PS...Don't trust Craigslist - http://news.yahoo.com/suspected-craigslist-toll-now-3-dead-1-wounded-180033217.html

Old post I know ... but I hope it doesn't take 5-6 months for me to get a job. I have both of the things you mentioned above but will run out of money by April. :scared:

Another good one for massive job searches is http://www.job-search-engine.com. I've gotten offers for jobs via this site, more than any other site I've went through. I've been civil service with the Air Force for 5 years now, and holy s*** is the government's hiring practice immoral, unethical, and illegal in many cases. At least from what I've seen regarding Air Force hires...can't speak to the other agencies. USAJOBS is a joke.
