Best/Easiest way to record vids off YouTube?

    I'm not the most computer savy dude around, and not into "gadgets" at all. So forgive me if the question is a bit passe....

    Anyone know the best or easiest way to record videos off youtube?

    Mozilla has a plug in that allows you to copy them, and Real Player has a similar one as well.

    This is what you want.

    If your editing program does not read .mp4 (it should), then just convert it to .mov or .avi (pending if you're mac or pc) with a free video converter online.

    If you use Firefox there are a few addons that do the job. I tend to use Flashgot but there are a few others in this list:
