Big Dolphins fan here from England and I'm visiting Miami for the first time in late December.
Was delirious to see that the schedule puts us at home vs the Jets when I visit so I obviously wanna get tickets.
Can anybody give me any advice about the best place to sit in the stadium?
Is there a section for away supporters that I need to avoid or a section where the atmosphere is best etc.
Also is there any advice regarding the best viewing positions ie end zone, high/low sideline etc.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

Welcome, mate. Ignore FinD. He's our resident curmudgeon.
Home side. The visitors' side is cooked relentlessly by the sun, which will ruin your day. I personally like the sideline upper deck, as close to midfield as possible and as close to the field as possible. The view of the entire field from up there lets you see all the action as it develops. Unfortunately, you're unlikely to find any of those seats available, so you need to settle for as close to that as you can get.Kevlared and Killer Bees like this. -
^^ upper deck is the correct answer, sideline, front row, midfield.

Thanks for the advice guys.

The Club level is the best place to sit, by far. Sit 3-4 rows back on the home side and you're completely covered from both sun and rain. Best seats in the stadium.
-
Second the endzone. Club level out of the sun if you can afford it.

Football is the one live event where it's better to sit in the upper deck. You can see the entire field perfectly from up above.

If you want to get some laughs, get rowdy and cheer like you think it's rugby. Call a touchdown a try, the offensive line the scrum and a punt a Garryowen kick. You know the drill. With your accent (I know; you guys talk correctly, WE have the accent) you'll pull it off.

Club level is definitely worth the extra cost.

yeah like they said, if you're able to grab Club Level seats, it's 100% worth it. I don't think I could sit anywhere else now. Lol.

Sounds like club level is best for the view. Is there a decent atmosphere in this stand? I like to be able to shout and cheer without being looked at like I'm crazy.
A few have suggested that endzone seats get the best atmosphere? -
I Travelled from Hull, England (60 miles away from you haha), I went to the Chargers and Panthers games an sat in the same seat (view below from both games) and loved it,I was section 117 row 4, it was close enough to the end zone for the atmosphere but also good value seats (paid about £60 on ticketmaster) and could print my tickets off at home. All the american fans were great and it's totally different to a UK event such as Rugby or Football, everybody was talking and high fiving each other, one of the best experiences of my life (roll on Wembley)
Chargers game...
Panthers game...

I've been twice, once lower level endzone, the other upper deck on the 50. The endzone seats, despite being much closer, gave pretty terrible views of the game. Views from upper deck were great. Would have been a better experience had I not been surrounded by Raiders fans who were smoking the whole game.

I like the upper deck endzone view. I think its brilliant. It lets the play unfold right in front of you and therefore you can get a feel for where the ball should go, who's really open, etc. Plus you can usually get a front row seat there for a bit cheaper than the sideline.

Well excited about the Wembley game too. We should beat the Raiders too.
I'm torn between endzone and sideline but the corner view you had seems a good compromise.
I'll have to see what ticketmaster has available on Monday.
