Now, of course take the points, too, since you can get 'em. ;)
Intangibles are lining up for us big time in this one:
- Coming off a confidence-boosting win against one of the better teams in the league.
- Underdogs by at least a touchdown at home, which is an insult.
- Division rival the team has beaten in the past, even when it was inferior to them.
- Strong desire to get back to .500 on the season and stay in playoff contention.
- Patriots perhaps looking ahead to their MNF game next week against the Texans, and then the one the week after against the 49ers. Trap game.
- Team coming off Ryan Tannehill's first fourth-quarter, come-from-behind win, which likely energized the roster and boosted its confidence.
- Running game has been showing flashes of coming back around, which boosts confidence.
And last but not least, the most important variable of them all:
- That ****ing stadium is gonna be PACKED, Jack! Imagine the difference the players will feel coming out to that reception. The energy will be palpable.
Bet on us to win.
-
hope you're right. IMO, Tannehill needs a game like he had vs zona for us to win
-
I'm feeling it. Dolphins by 3
-

Bet the Dolphins to Win Tomorrow
Love the enthusiasm and I agreed with your Jets call but I can't see this one happening. Coyle is going to have to coach his *** off to even keep this one within 2 scores. -
I will admit that you were right when it came to picking the Dolphins to easily beat the Jets. Unfortunately, I think you should have stopped your selections right there. While I hope you are correct in picking the Dolphins today. I just don't see the Phins scoring enough on offense and Brady will have a field day against the Dolphins secondary.
I think the Patriots will win fairly easily, 41-21. -
I love your enthusiasm...but how in the hell do you expect Nolan Carroll, Jimmy Wilson and Sean Smith to cover these guys for 60 minutes? Either they are going to give them a HUGE cushion and it will be a slow death or they will blow right past them. I already promised my wife that I am not allowed to scream Carroll's name during the game. She gets tired of hearing it(please Nolan...just turn and face the ball once...it's easy to scream your name when all you ever show anyone is the back of your jersey)

Anything is possible in the NFL .seabass0795 and first&goal like this. -
Pats - 38
Dolphins - 24 -
That being said, I hope we go out there and destroy NE silencing those dang Pats fans. -
-
I saw the NFL Network stat that NE is only 14-32 (or something like in the 31 or 33 loss range) that for games in Miami vs. Dolphins
-
Yeah, great investment there, Mr. Buffett.
-
It's funny, I saw this thread title this morning in my hotel room in Orlando and the first thing I thought was, well that settles it, Dolphins are gonna lose...
We'll see... -
