Hey Fam,
So I've bounced this off a couple of members here and I would like to see if we can get some cash together and get a Phins Jersey(or bills if you really want to) with BigBry written on it and the number (TBD) to send to his daughter from us. I think it would be a nice gesture and she will always have something that shows her that he was a great guy and we truly are a family on here.
I would set up a go fund me, but they take a percentage of it so i am leaning towards not doing that. We can set up a paypal or maybe send it to Samphins paypal or mine, I don't mind, I just want everyone to feel safe in donating money.
The custom jersey's run 300 bucks, so if we can get 30 members to give 10 bucks each, that would work, if we get any extra money left over, we will give it to Leah personally.
I know some of you will doubt me because I'm a Pats fan. I've been on this board for 7 years and the senior members will vouch for me and @Sethdaddy and @Samphin both are aware of this idea and can also vouch me for me.
Please either reply here or PM with an amount you think you can donate. I'll keep track of it and once we get close we can start thinking about how to get it to me or Sam.
Lets see what we can get done guys.

I told McLovin about this already, but we don't need $300. We only need $150 for the jersey. There's no need to get an authentic. The replicas are really good.

I have a couple of opinions on the jersey number.
Between here and Finheaven, Bry had 6800 posts. So I was thinking #68.
Or if we wanted to keep it strictly ThePhins, he had 5300 posts. So #53.
Since this gift is from his forum family and will have his forum name on the back, I thought the number could be in reference from his time on the forums as well.
If it were up to me, I'd go with #53 since he was more well known here and Leah came here to update us on his passing. I have nothing against Finheaven, but he was way more active here and I consider us more of a family.

I'm serious. Nike's replica jerseys are really good. I own a few and so do multiple family members. They don't use old school screen print. It's a high quality silicone, rubbery print. The authentic jerseys are fine, but I don't think they are worth the price. Nike puts these weird looking sweat patches on them. I'm fine if that's the way you guys want to go, I'm just talking personal preference. But factoring price and comfort, replica >>>>> authentic. The authentics are also really heavy.
As for the number, bry might have wanted 69, but I'm thinking more about his wife and Leah. I don't want to be THAT guy, but they'll be the ones wearing it and I just think it's a bit inappropriate.

Also, what's the temperature on getting a woman's cut? they dont make the elite (autho) in a womans cut so that would settle that debate if we go that route. I still prefer the elite myself.

I would get a large. People always wear jerseys loose and usually over a hoodie or something. Think it should be an aqua men's/traditional jersey. Aqua, not teal you gross Pats fan!!
