As a Bigfoot enthusiast the fact Loren Coleman is behind this gives this very much credibility, but I'm still going to be skeptical about this until I see it.

Odd, I did a search on Google for the intro to press release that, according to the story intro "has been distributed to news agencies worldwide." and found no hits other than the site that this story was published on and a message board that quoted the press release.

The press release may have been distributed worldwide but the lack of attention by the mainstream press, scientists, etc is STUNNING if this is in fact true.

Hey guys, I got an update from someone who is big in this field and this very well looks like it could be the real deal, the lab that did the DNA will be present at the press conference and they are a very reputable lab and would never get themselves involved in a hoax of this epic proporation.

I know more but that's all I can say as I promised I wouldn't say anymore.

I would also suggest this thread be moved into the Science forum.

 

You really believe in bigfoot ronnie? I've been all over hunting and have never seen anything to make me believe.

 

I hope it is true. I mean a discovery like this could be huge and everyone could live to see the day that the myth became truth.

As for why the rest of the scientific community aren't concerned they probably just think its another hoax and so they brush it off.

I'm not sure either way but I am enjoying the possibilities.

I believe the strong possibility it does exist.

I belong to a Bigfoot forum - that just crashed from the volume of users on it now - and I know a lot of people who have seen it and some of them are hunters like yourself and never believed in it before they saw it and they are far from crazy.

This still could be a hoax because a "bigfoot hunter" that is involved is a shakey character, it's the only thing that is holding a lot of us back.

It could be the scientific discovery of our lifetime - it would be that big.

 

I've also wondered that but maybe they are just so rare and avoid human contact so fiercely that we can never find them.

I myself doubt they exist but I hope that they do because that would be awesome. :up:

Its definitely something you would never forget and maybe then some things like UFOs would be taken more seriously as well as other conspiracy theories, etc.

My only question Ronnie: How come every time somone sees a Big Foot, Alien, Loch Ness Monster... theres never a definitive photo involved? Its always a grainy Blair Witch style affair.

Just once I'd like to see some non shaky-cam footage of one of these monsters.

Probably a lot of fakes and a lot of overzealous debunkers taking every picture and making them seem less credible. When a piece of gold does pass through its just passed over.

Plus a lot of people that are faking want it to be shaky but also it could be that if someone did take a pic or video footage and wasn't faking they would probably have cheap equipment and would be very nervous.

 

could it be that while taking the picture/video they are sh****** their pants!!

 

A lot of the reports I have read with people with cameras - and the same goes with hunters with guns - is when they run into this thing that are so overtaken with fear and awe of what they are witnessing they completely forget what they have in their hands.

Not to mention that the theories behind them is that they are nocturnal creatures and very smart - in other words they know it's best to avoid us at all costs.
