The more i think about this the more pissed iam getting.
How the hell does he do this in his contract year, iam serious man, iam at a loss for words, so very dissapointing,I knew food was his weakness and i have written over the past few years that he does'nt train his body like a proffesional athlete should..The rolls around his waist proves it,
Please someone tell me that he was wearing a flap jacket or somethin man.
This is not normal behavior for a running back, the only thing i can come up with, is that the regime and doctors wanted him to not to do so much running in the offseason coming off the season with that injury and all.
Not sure how the acl tear rehab works in year 2, but its the only thing thats keeping me from going to the ota's with a bullhorn and calling him a bad name. {lol}.
Doesnt he know that he needs to be at 225 to be most effective.
Iam goin crazy thinkin about this, so i started this thread to hear other peoples thoughts, maybe someone can give me some peace.

What is the point of putting "big news" if you don't provide a link for it?

Does anyone know his actual weight right now?

Have you guys ever seen bodybuilders in the offseason? They look chubby then they cut up. What they do is they do one part just to bulk up like a couple of months, where they actually look kind of chubby, then they do about 3 months strict diet and cut up...... at least in my experience.

Number 169 on why I hate the offseason.
"Blah blah blah, player is 5 to 10 pounds over weight in May"GridIronKing34, FinSane, brandon27 and 5 others like this. -
keep in mind also if ronnie is doing strength training or powerlifting he won't cut up as much.................... Last season you can expect him to show up more cut because he was rehabbing which means he was probably doing alot of cardio.

Ronnie brown is not an offensive lineman, theres no excuse if hes that overweight in may..man gets paid millions of dollars for his craft, a craft that should be trained properly during the offseason to be at optimum level for the real season.ToddsPhins likes this. -

It shouldn't be any issue. He will lose that weight in a week or two on a workout routine. Seriously, I'm not sure if there is a better fat burning workout than a serious football practice.

From Ronnie Brown's Twitter:
Hey guys, just logged onto ThePhins.com. Can you belive they think Im fat? Unreal. Posted about 30 minutes ago on TwitterRocky Raccoon, hugoguzman, Xeticus and 4 others like this. -
not sure where you get this assumption he doesnt take his workouts seriously? hes known as a very hard worker.
-
Here's the question, does he have to make weight for an OTA? If not, it's a non issue. If yes, well, perhaps we would have heard about it already? Now, Soliai had to make weight, or at least was weighed... we heard about that.
-
Because of those last two off seasons, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt, and assumme that it isn't his laziness or lack of commitment. There must be an underlying reason. -
I would like to ignore it and pretend that its may and its not a big deal, but i have issues with professional athletes who dont train their bodies 100 percent in the offseason.
I look at the athlete like a machine, you want the best to go in your own machine if you have the funds to do so..training in the offseason correctly and maintaing proper weight and nutrition should be part of the job.ToddsPhins likes this. -

Okay, this is Ronnie's weigh... of telling the FO he's pissed about the drafting of Pat White... He doesn't want it to become the WildPAT so he wants it to be the WildFAT??
Lets at least give the rumor some juice... :wink2:ToddsPhins and Alex44 like this. -
Colorado Dolfan ...dirty drownin' man?
Pics or GTFO... :wink2:
If it was an issue, the media would be all over it. :pity: -
That's one of the reasons Ricky Williams started over him at the beginning of the season last year. He takes his training more seriously. May very well mean RW starts over him again this season. If Ronnie can't take his body and staying in football shape more seriously, we shouldn't even consider re-signing him. That's BS.
-
the video on miamidolphins.com is wide, everyone looks bigger. though Ronnie does look a little bigger then last year, its not a big deal to be 10 pounds over the weight 3 months away.....

LMAO seriously? your going to sit there and tell me the reason Ricky started a couple games was because Ronnie didnt work hard enough, and not because he was coming off a major knee injury extremely soon after all the reports saying he was working his *** off and he showed up in unbelievable shap last year?
makes sense.GridIronKing34, SICK, Colorado Dolfan and 1 other person like this. -
Ronnie, if you are reading this, I love you man. Tear them up this year,ok. You are # 1 in my book and always have been. In fact the only thing Satan did right was to pick you over that other guy you ran with in college, hmmm I forget his name.
