Illinois's athletic front is a bit scary...but I think that shot will carry over to the Big Ten Tourny title and a #1 seed.

Turner is a BEAST!!
But Buford and Lighty are both very good players who attack the hoop very well. This team is relying less and less on Diebler's 3 pointers wich is good because now when he is hot its just a bonus. -

Buckeyes nearly scored as much in the 2nd half as Minnesota scored in the whole game. For a while I thought they could shoot blindfolded and still hit nothing but net.

I hope but this team has a tendency to play down to their opponents level, yes we need Turner but we also need atleast one other guy to step up.
Plus Thad Matta doesnt rotate our guys all that much, im skeptical on how thats going to work in the big dance.

Hmm kinda surprised that Duke is ahead of Syracuse in the seeding but works out better for Cuse.
Even more surprised they have Ohio St rated as the worst 2 seed in the tourny and its going to make it almost impossible for Ohio St to reach the Final Four.
I'm still fuming that Nova is ahead of Ohio St are you freaking kidding me? :pity:
Midwest is going to be a ***** especially with the Hoyas as the likely opponent for the Buckeyes. If they can get past GTech which is going to be a tough match up as well. -
They didn't play down to the Gophers level today. I see what your saying though I think Ohio St can make it if teams constantly double Turner much like today it gave wide open looks for Lighty, Diebler, and Buford. Now I know Ohio St will be playing much tougher competition than the Gophers but the concept remains the same.
I think that could end up killing us especially if Turner gets into early foul trouble. If that happens Ohio St is in trouble in any game.
