Its only about time because of dissapointing seasons lately. Almost every team goes thru the same things when they've stunk for a while, including in NY!
I was at the playoff game when we beat Peyton in 2000.L.Smith ran for over 200 yards in OT.Man it was louder then any Dolphins game I ever went to. If it gets louder than that Sunday,it will be hard for Flacco to call signals. No doubt about it.... as Tony would say.
Its been a long drought bro.. and y'all owning us hurt most of all. Preventing another sweep in your house for the whole shebang made the season great, everything else is icing. I think the unexpectedness of it makes it even sweeter.
I'm sure that was a huge victory for the Miami fan base and organization. If my team had lost 17 out of 21 to a team, including 5 in a row until Sunday (and 8 or 9 straight back in the middle of this streak), I'd be pumped up about beating them as well. How you feel when you beat us is how we feel when we beat New England. Absolutely ****ing crazy!
I liked the hell out of both of us beating them in their house.. they had what 17? 21? victories in a row before we got them week three. And for Mangini to get one in BillB's house HAS to be a big deal.
As much as we all gave Mangini **** this season, the facts are he beat New England 2 out of 7 times, better than Herm ever did, and Mangini won 2 of the 3 regular season match-ups in Gillette and I was there for all seven games of the Mangini-Belichick rivalry. Good times.
Our fans have proved a lot to me over the past two years...so proud, i challenge any other franchise to go thru 6 head coaches, 1 and 15 seasons, no direction, no playoffs for 8 years and have a full stadium every week...BULLSH@#..
