Cleveland want their forst rounder back this year soemthing awful don't they?

With John Beck on our roster and not getting a fair shake just yet, I just dont get why this is such a hot topic. I dont see DA coming into Miami and being all that good or any kind of answer. He played with a big$ o-line and with super talent at the skill positions in cleveland.

That would be a really Bad deal for Miami look at the WRs and TEs he has there compared to what he would have here he might not be a very good QB for us

If Miami trades for Anderson it will be with a Mid Round Pick(15 - 22) in the 1st & a 3rd rounder to boot.
They will not trade the overall pick just for Anderson, picks & an average player. They will trade down and get more picks...maybe even with Dallas. They could even take less than the normal value. Then use the pick to get a few players and not get hit with 30+ million guaranteed to a rookie.
I think Anderson can turn into a TOP 10 QB. He has the SIZE & SKILLS to do it. Just needs more game time to really run the show from under center. His ability to make all the throws does not mean Miami would all of a sudden be a division contender. They still need help with LG, WR, TE, & WR!!!
But it would make a hell of a start in the right direction. Look for Ricky to be traded to them as well. Miami might end up with a player from the defense like B. Poole, 4th & Anderson for a 1st, 3rd & Ricky. -

Um, I'd require something else from Cleveland. Definitely.
Derek Anderson is not worthy of the #1 overall selection -- weak draft or not. That's absurd.Last edited: Dec 27, 2007
