http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/content/sports/epaper/2009/04/20/0420parcells.html I have heard it said that this regime has a list of 100 players who they have ranked in value at positions of interest. If you want to make a Mock draft a good way to do it is to guess who is on that list and how the Dolphins rank them and then see who is dropping in the draft . They may have an OLB in mind for the first pick but someone like Jenkins drops to them if they like him they may draft him and go to their second pick for the OLB position unless a better player is available at another position of need . IMO I think they have players in mind at positions of need for every pick we have .Say for instance pick 2b, we will have LB,CB,WR, etc candidates in mind depending on who was drafted before that pick. So they may have started with the idea of drafting a pass rushing specialist with one of their first two picks but end up using a later pick . In that case they always have JT in reserve and they can get the guy they want next year. BTW I am not suggesting we do that .I am just using these scenarios as examples. And also I want to emphasize that this is just my opinion.
