Couldn't ESPN find a better reporter for Parcells interview? She asked some really stupid questions. It's not like Parcells says yes to interviews routinely. It's only the third interview he's given since he took the job.
Nice seeing him say he's staying though. -
I actually found that interview to be one of the more informative Parcells interviews.
If you saw the interview with Andrea Kramer on Real Sports with Gumble you'll know what I'm talking about. The guy's a stone wall, he never shows his hand. It's downright awkward to watch his interviews sometimes.
I don't think you can blame that on the interviewer -
parcells pretty much said nothing. he wouldnt even admit that Fitz is better than moss. -

First time I have actually SEEN Bill say he is staying for at least the 09 season, which is good. However, until the 30 period expires, won't be totally confident about his statement. Too often we have seen Bill say one thing to then turn around and do another. Happened right before he signed with Miami. Would love to get three out of him, but would be happy with at least 2. I don't believe he is staying for the full 4 unless we are doing so well, he wants to be a part of a Championship before he retires for good.

Apparently the interview was part of Parcells' contractual obligation to Gatorade, so that's what got the Tuna to come up from the depths to speak publicly.
It also may have something to do with why he was not hostile and stand-offish.
Perhaps the interviewer was also influenced by Gatorade (whomever they hired to do the week-long Superbowl-booth interviews).
My guess is that Gatorade drove the interview and ESPN agreed to carry it by contract. -
Its uncomfortable to watch him in interviews sometimes because he keeps hearing the same stupid sh@# from all of them, noone thats holding the mic is progressive enough in their thinking to inspire him.
He was very nice to this girl. -
There was also an interview today on NFLN done with Adam Schefter. I thought it was pretty good.
Sethdaddy8 likes this. -
I thought the interview was excellent, both the Interviewer and Interviewees voices were strong and clear, and there did not appear to be much editing at all. I have always liked the way Bill answers questions thrown at him. He's always been straight up, unlike someone like Saban who more or less tries to sell his point across, if you know what I mean.
