I realize you know more about this than I. But as I posted above, I have personal experience skating through life doing better than most and underachieving at the same time. It took months of court ordered therapy to point me in the right direction. He was the 1st guy I’d ever met that I couldn’t con, since my father died.

I certainly don’t know if Vontae falls into this group, but I do know it’s possible.

 

So why couldn't he be one of the 4%? My IQ is higher than that, but my common sense and work ethic is nothing to write home about.

 

Because he talks funny. Duh.

 

He could be, but it isn't likely. And I sure wouldn't take the Wonderlic as evidence of it.

 

IQ is pretty overrated.

 

You would say that.

 

There are two ways to define smart in normal situations. Aptitude. And the propensity to make good or bad decisions.

He can take a test. Doesn't mean he makes good decisions.
