I can theoretically understand how it is genetically possible, but the odds of the mother having had an affair with a white guy have to be astronomically higher. I hope they get a DNA test that eliminates that possibility.

 

I hope they do nothing of the sort and they accept and love her without reservation, she deserves no less. Thats the real lotto imho.

To get blonde hair, blues eyes, white skin, it is very unlikely. Having said that I have a feeling they might have some relatives who were half white and didnt say anything..

 

More than the color, the thickness/texture of the hair is what amazes me.

If the wife indeed didn't have an affair, that hair is quite stunning.

 

They can love the baby equally with or without the test, but that kid is going to wonder. Not know, probably not until she's a teenager, but she's going to want to know. And I'm betting that she was just a genetic anomaly. I just know that people will talk and teenage girls will have doubts.

 

i vote blood test.
if i rolled two dice and got 13 or 14 or anything higher, id want to take a closer look at those dice.

 

My thinking would be dna test would be next if the parents allow it. I would assume the baby is already the same blood type or a blood type which would be the culmination of them both.

The kid is amazing.
Like Muck mentioned even the hair isn't a match for a black couples child.
Even if the mother had an affair the kid still dosen't match the look of an interacial black/white couple. I think you can rule that out.

The child just seems to be a real Genetic mystery.

 

She's definitely going to have a tough time going through school.
I imagine she'll get alot of the "youre adopted" stuff from kids and she may even begin to believe it. Another reason the genetics test is probably a good idea for the family.

That was my thought. It won't stop others from saying or believing whatever they want, but it would provide certainty for the girl and maybe for others in the family.

 

She will will be stealing the minute she can crawl.......
