We are entering into the "tridium", that is the three day observance of Maundy (Holy) Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil. In these three days, Christians consider the key points of the Christ experiance, the institution of Holy Communion, the Trial and Passion, and the descent to the dead, as we prepare for the miracle of Easter's Resurrection! In our parish we have already had 9 services since last Saturday and have 8 more planned before noon on Sunday. It is a busy and wonderous time. May I wish all the Christians here a most blessed Paschal season and extend my hope that each of you experiance the depth and breadth of services your congregation and community might offer. To those of other faiths who also have holidays around this time of year, especially the Passover which I believe is running at the same time as our Holy Week, may your observances bring you peace and fulfillment. Blessings to you all!
