Alright so im in a 12 man league on NFL.com and my buddies and I just had our draft yesterday. The draft order was chosen at random and I had the first pick and my best friend had the 2nd pick and hes huge Titans fan and he really wanted CJ. I told him I was goina take CJ but maybe after the draft we could work out a trade. my current team roster looks like this QB: Eli Manning, Jay Cutler RB: Chris Johnson, Ronnie Brown, Michael Bush, Reggie Bush WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Brandon Marshall, TJ Housurmomma, Jabar Gaffney, Mario Manningham TE: Antonio Gates, Zach Miller DEF: Bears I really do believe that Chris Johnson will get hurt this year, dude is pretty small and I already have Ronnie Brown on my other fantasy team and I just like to have different players on my teams (I only have 2 teams) So my buddy who loves the Titans offered me this trade Offer: Philip Rivers, Adrian Peterson, and Shonn Greene for: Eli Manning, Chris Johnson, Ronnie Brown I have accepted the trade. I really do hope Shonn Greene plays up to his hype.
His back up QB is Big ben His WR's are Reggie Wayne, Crabtree, and Malcom Floyd. His TE is Winslow and Olsen. He didnt want to trade Reggie Wayne and I feel that my two WR's Marshall and Fitz are very solid. He also has Beanie Wells and Maroney as his back ups I feel like it was a pretty even trade. I didnt draft Eli til late and I drafted Brown kinda late too campared to Peterson, Rivers, and Greene were his top picks My team still has the highest projection after the trade
rivers > eli cj > ap (but not by much) ronnie</> greene (could be a wash) you won by basically swaping the same guys, and rivers being better imo than eli. good move i believe.
Well, the best thing is that you split up your QBs that I believe had the same bye-week (Giants and Bears) so thats a good thing.
Philip Rivers without Vincent Jackson is kind of a gamble... Not to mention a new backfield and the O-line being eh. He could very well have a mediocre year. I would of kept the team as it was.
