A nice one, the home orange, XL, one third of the price they normally are even on Ebay.
Not sure if it is from the early 00's or this past season though.
Now here is why I bought it:
Every year I pick up a couple of jerseys that fit what I think the team needs that year, last season it was Griese for Henne and Larry Little for Donald Thomas and Big Jake Long.
This year, the need is on defense, so I wanted some classic Dolphins defensive players jerseys to sort of get into the spirit of "the defense must improve".
But who would that be?
After thinking about this and examining Zach Thomas,Sam Madison ("teal" only), a knock off YBell, Joey Porter, Junior Seau, there were no other "great" Dolphins defensive players who had a home orange jersey available, and 300 dollars to the NFLShop is out of my price range.
Porter was a jerk all three years here, we have veterans at ILB so Zach Thomas was out, the knock off YBell was not acceptable.
So that left Taylor or incredibly expensive Nick Bouniconti and Junior Seau.
So Seau and Taylor it was, Seau for Misi, Taylor for Cam Wake and the rest of the OLB's, we can only hope Misi turns out to be "our" Lamarr Woodley.
Taylor, at the end of the day, will go down as the greatest Dolphins defensive player, even if he is a self centered schmuck who currently is wearing a puke green #95.
So have I sold out my dolfans fandom or am I correct about a Orange Taylor jersey?

I also put in a bid on one of the jacked up Brandon Marshall #85 jerseys, the way I see it once he picks a number they will be a piece of Dolphins lore sorta like Mike Vick and "Ron Mexico"...
I hadda have a Orange one for this upcoming year and mostly what was there were offensive players like Ronnie and Ricky, and we need the defense to improve so they wouldn't fit.Anonymous likes this. -
I probably would have waited until his time with the Jets ended. But you probably got a much better deal than you will get when he ends his career and retires a Dolphin like Zach just did. Just don't wear it during a Dolphins/Jets game this year and I think your Dolphins fandom will be OK.

Why is Taylor that much different? They all left, only Bowens and Bouniconti retired a Dolphin. -

Should have saved that money. Could have gotten you a few meals and/or a nice meal with that money.

which reminds me, Oakland played NE a while back, and Al Davis came out, and looked like the walking dead dude!!!! The man needs to retire...MikeHoncho likes this. -
The ones not for sale are Csonka, Bob Griese, Jim Langer, Larry Little, Nick Buoniconti, Dan Marino, Mark Clayton, Mark Duper, AJ Duhe, John Offerdahl, Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, and—of course—NABOCANE, :chuckle: -
Losing the NFLN means no replays of preseason games, meaning I have to catch them online and the way I want to do that will cost about the money I've saved. -
Are Madison or Seau in Orange? That is how Taylor got me...gotta have an orange one..I seriously came close to bidding for Wake's Jersey from the first Jest game last season Wake wound up going for 3,200 or so, Taylor for 2k. -
Should go cream of wheat IMHO. With bananas and maple syrup.Bpk likes this. -

I wish there were more throwbacks available; I'd love to have a Kuechenberg, a Dwight Stephenson, a Jon Geisler; Jake Scott and the rest of the No-Name Defense would be cool too.
One day, and I hope it is soon, you'll be able to order any player's throwback as a custom item, in the uni design of that player's day.
It would be such a simple matter; all they have to do is have all the different-era templates available and put the names on them. -
You never realize when you move to a completely different part of the country, what you'll miss that was readily available where you used to live; NOBODY serves grits here. Can hardly find any to make at home anywhere, either.jetssuck likes this. -
