WTF are you talking about? You claimed beal was responsible and Ross just took the hits and punishment. That's a BS defense of Ross, he was just as responsible as anyone. Lol at your nonsensical "acumen".

You 12 years old? I’m just stating a fact, Beal did the tampering and Ross as the majority owner has to take the responsibility. There’s no defense here.

While I understand the need for prudence in pursuing a new DC, Boyer has been gone for 10 days now. The coaching carousel doesn’t go for very long and you have to strike the iron while it’s hot.

I want Fangio. Kyle Shannahan, Andy Reid and a couple of other great offensive minded head coaches have all said the defense that’s always the most difficult to play against is Fangio’s. When you have that type of complimentary endorsement, it boggles my mind why the Dolphins are taking so long to close this deal.

Get it done NOW so the defense can start prepping NOW for the 2023 season. It always bothered me that the Dolphins would wait too long and miss golden opportunities.

While I tend to agree he is still under helping the Eagles as they are still in playoffs. This is pretty typical to wait until your season is over. Vic is a little different since he’s a “consultant” but he’s old school and probably focusing on eagles atm.

Just saw it on NFL network, Vic Fangio and the Dolphins have come to an agreement making him the highest paid coordinator in the league. Good news.

Great news! Dolphins are on the right track if somehow we can keep Tua from getting injured.

I just hope Fangio makes an immediate impact. Sometimes it takes him a few years before the defense starts to play at top level. I guess that 3-year deal is useful from that point of view.

Ross opening that wallet. He can be a doorknob at times, but he's willing to put his money out there to try and win. For our sakes, I hope it pays off.

It needs to pretty much be immediate. The good news is that our talent base is strong - I wonder if some his early seasons elsewhere were spent building talent on iffy teams. We will have some shifting in the CB room and maybe in the LB corps, but the DL is very strong and our safeties are legit. Unless players just don't get the system, they should be poised for early success.

Might just be wishful thinking but, he might be able to salvage or repurpose Iggy.

I’d be fine with an improved X. Also getting back a healthy Kohou, Needham, and Williams. The rest will sort itself out; Iggy is sunk cost at this point and merely a bonus. Best Phins fans can hope for is for him to show out in preseason and then get traded for a mid-round pick.

If he "shows out" enough to garner a mid-round pick we will just keep him. If he still sucks he will probably be a roster bubble cut.

As for X, I wonder how much injuries played a role with him.

With the talent we have on defense, I can’t wait to see what Fangio can unleash on the league next season.

As Brad said earlier, if Tagovailoa can stay upright this makes us Super Bowl contenders. No doubt we’re going to have a top 10 offense and top 10 defense. If either or both break the top 5?

    :wink2:
