Is Gronk the most significant element of the Patriot's attack? His size and power allow him to make plays and break tackles that wouldn't happen otherwise. He's a unique presence and significant problem for any defence. Obviously Brady is a great QB, but in terms of overall threat and ability are the Pats' even close to the same team without Gronk as they are with him? And what might be the best anti-Gronk approach for the Phins or do we play him like any other big receiver and hope for best?
you have to knock Gronk off his route, or not be put in a position where you have to try and tackle him. in other words, you defend the ball, not the player. it was the same with Randy Moss. Would Brady have thrown 50 TD's without Moss? Na. maybe 35-40.
Gronk is the most unstoppable offensive player in the league IMO. There is no combination I'd rather see less than Brady and Gronk.
Yes he does. Source: Matt Cassel and every player who has left the Pats since 2000 and amounted to nothing.
