Either receivers are running the routes wrong or Tannehills inaccuracy just cost us the second receiver. Throw high and behind Wallace next time Tdip like you did to wide open Gibson and Keller.

Not sure what Matthews has to step up for. I mean yeah, would like to see him become a player for us but the season is over, after Thursday night, then I think we lose Monday Night against the Buccs, yeah... It's over.

Bit of a daft post but if I'm going to be conjective then i'm sure Luck feels the same way after Reggie Wayne went Down. Come on bro.

I'm not giving up on Tannehill but if Jimmy Garappolo really slides into the 4th, I would draft him. Maybe even in the 3rd.

Damnit. Was becoming one of my favorite players and really helped this offense & Tannehill. Bummed for him, he seems like a great dude. Big loss.

And we've had the top two practice squad WRs poached too.

    Bad news. Very bad news.

Matthews either has to step up, or we should at least look into Nicks, Gordon or maybe even Britt. With the news Fitzy may be available too, might not be a bad idea. Oh wait... we have the Wallace deal to work with.

Could make trading deadline a little more interesting. Who do you sign off the practice squad? The former Jet, or do you go to another squad and poach?

Hidden gem? Seriously. What makes you think that? Dolphins arnt blessed with gems. If he was then he would have seen a lot more playing time. Though with this coaching unit I don't know.

If we were to trade for a WR, Id strongly consider trying to package Wallace in any deal. It's clearly not working in this offense for him, and may help lower or remove the draft pick part of the compensation.

True. Im more or less just kind of trying to make that point that we need to rid ourselves of them, and with a few good options available that can fill a "#1 WR role", we should explore them, because Wallace clearly isnt the fit this offense needed.

Name the teams who would want Mike Wallace, can fit his contract under their cap, and would be willing to trade compensation worth having our GM bail on his prize free agent signing.

What kind of idiot speaks for 31 NFL GM's??? Not me.

The Vikings were going to pay him more than we did, so perhaps THEY would.

After seeing his Invisible Man outing this season? No chance. Gordon or Blackmon would be a blessing right now but if they wore a Phin uni their stats would take a serious nosedive going by recent posts on here about good players doing nothing when they become Dolphin players. Pretty grim eh!

While i get your logic behind it... I dont think Minny would. IMO theyre in a situation where they are quite possibly blowing the whole thing up and starting over too. I dont think they are going to let Speilman pull the trigger on a deal for Wallace, after signing Jennings if theyre planning on blowing it all up which they likely are, and should be.

It's moot...he's a valuable asset when a team is able to take advantage of what he does.

Unfortunately this offense lost their best play maker today. We will miss Gibson.

You DO NOT want Nicks right now. His knees and ankles either arent right or he just cant separate anymore.

Wallace was insanely overpaid yet our boy Brandon Gibson is just a first down/touchdown machine.

Such a bad injury for this team. It'll hurt. I imagine third down conconversion rates will immediately fall.

Mike Wallace out would've been an easier injury to handle honestly.

Hope for a full recovery. A very solid signing from Jeff Ireland.

Tough break for Gibson. I find it a bit ironic that RT threw the ball behind him (although too high) in an obvious attempt to protect him from the defender and that he got injured anyways. I think Matthews (as I've said since before we drafted him) has a lot to offer. He brings more size, strength and speed and his hands may be better than Gibson's. I think he has a good chance of bringing more YAC than what Gibson was capable of. What he doesn't do as well is get in position as readily. Gibson was great at making himself a nice target for the QB. That made Gibson invaluable on third down and in the redzone. Gibson was definitely a very good FA signing for us.
