Can somebody anybody please tell me how the hell he slipped to the 4th round of the draft when he came out??! How he wasn't a top 10 pick is beyond me!!

I was going to make a joke about how having Ed Reed wouldn't have changed anything about our team the last several years (...) but then i looked up the 2002 draft and remembered we didnt even have a pick that year because of Ricky. You know who the saints took with that draft pick? Charles Grant. What a world.
I know....I liked him and Atari Bigby....I wanted them both (and thats kind of a big deal because being a USF fan, we sorta detest UCF). But I thought both of these guys would be be good players.
The draft ain't a perfect system....Marino the 6th QB taken in his class and of course that guy on the Patriots(Brady) went in 7th I think.
Tom Brady as someone mentioned went late, and I believe Joe Montana was a 3rd rounder. Just goes to show you that there is Hall of Fame talent in rounds other than 1 and 2, you just have to have the right scouts and a little bit of luck I think.
