Vitor Belfort was set to battle Anderson Silva for the MW crown April 10th at UFC 112. It is being reported that he is out due to a shoulder injury. This has been confirmed by Dana White. Looks like Chael Sonnen will get his shot sooner rather than later.
You have to wonder if Dan Henderson would have been next in line to get a title shot, if he was still on the roster.
Yep. It'll be Silva vs. Sonnen at UFC 112, I would imagine. And for my money, Chael Sonnen is a VERY bad matchup for Anderson Silva. Silva better train takedown defense. I have a feeling that if he doesn't KO Sonnen quick, he's in some trouble. I could see Sonnen grinding him out for 5 rounds.
