Never really did much as a Laker other than eat salary but still sorry to hear this. He's a strong guy and I wish his fight against Parkinson's goes well.

 

posey and grant weren't on the same team. also, carter and odom weren't on the same team. still, i like all those guys and it sucks that grant has parkinson's.

My favorite Heat team of all-time and one of the more exciting groups to watch. Too bad we couldn't keep the nucleus intact, although it got us Heat fans a championship to boast about.

 

Rafer Alston was the PG...and Wade was the 6th man for most of the year. Horrible news. Brian Grant is an all-timer for the heat. great rebounder and defender.

 

Parkinsons is a slow killer...very sad. He can still have a good healthy functioning life though. One of the millions and millions of advantages to being rich, (boo) is he will get the best treatment for it there is probably.

 

I used to hate him on the Blazers when he and Malone would get into it.

 

I love Brian Grant, one of my all-time favorite NBA players and all-time Heat guys. I used to watch him guard Shaq when he was on the Blazers during their epic series in the playoffs. I was ecstatic when Pat Riley brought him here. Of course it never worked out with Zo getting sick, but he still played his heart out and wind up being the best Heat player here until D-Wade was drafted.
