I heard via the news that the coroner is going with natural causes atm - its certainly not unheard of for younger people to have fatal heart conditions.
But in general, when a young celebrity dies, I think drugs or other causes come to the forefront. If not because of the specific person (I dont remember hearing of Murphy in the news from it) then because of others.
Frankly, Im just surprised it wasnt Lindsey Lohan. -
That's what I was thinking; that, although you wouldn't wish it on them or be happy for the news, you certainly wouldn't be surprised if Lohan or Paris Hilton, or others like them, dropped from overdoses or the prolonged effects of drugs.
But, having never heard anything of the sort about Murphy, my first thought wasn't in that vein.
No pun intended. -
why? cardiac arrest at that young of age, given her small physique. drug abuse seems very plausible to me.

The family is saying she had the flu; if it was H1N1 and she had an underlying, undetected heart condition - which is easier to have, undetected, if you're 32 - then that could do it.

From that report it could have been a combination of something she had been taking, or even eating, that was causing her symptoms and she didnt realize it.
For example imagine that one day you start to become sensative to peanuts (which have a very high allergy rating) and yet you keep eating them thinking it cant be the peanuts because you've never seemed to show sings of an allergic reaction before...
So after awhile of you continuing to eat the peanuts your body keeps getting worse and worse until one day you need to get medical attention.
In the end she might've been suffering from a bad drug interaction and didnt realize it and eventually her body had a really bad reaction and couldn't recover.
In situations like that, its best to stop taking anything that isn't absolutely needed to keep you alive and start to not eat anything that can possibly be liked to allergies, so that you can determine if it is indeed some kind of intoxication to something you are taking/eating.NaboCane likes this. -
