I just wanted to get your guys thoughts on Tebow from the 1st quarter to the 4th. Did the comeback surprise any of you?

He was terrible until the final moments of the 4th quarter. Then the MIA defense became terrible.
You can not be thrilled as a DEN fan. Draft a QB next year.
EDIT: I may have come off smug, but that is how I feel. He missed open guys, didn't sense pressure to step up in the pocket, didn't throw the ball away, allowed 7 sacks, etc. He is not a QB in this league IMO. -
welcome.
as a Broncos fan you feel like you have something to build on maybe. he redeemed himself, but my generally negative opinion of him as a passer hasn't changed
not really surprised. the Dolphins are masters at finding ways to lose. Sunday was the most creative we have seen. a simple PAT kick and/or an onside recovery makes the comeback impossible -
Through the first 3 quarters he was 1-7. One thing though is that your team really wants to play for him. They never gave up and never once lost faith that they could win. You could see just watching the game that the Denver players were just hanging in there waiting for a momentum swing.
As far as the comeback I'm not at all surprised. Our team is awful. We need a Stanford qb of our own so was can get some SB's like y'all.gafinfan likes this. -
He's a bad QB that will get a ****load of chances because he's Tim Tebow.

Eric Decker didnt seem to thrilled with his performance Sunday either. He called it "frustrating", thats probably gonna be the norm when your plays runs 7-10 seconds long and your outs look like Rip Hamilton running around the perimeter of a bball court.

Tebow shot-puts the ball, he throws wobbly, errant balls, he can't throw a short pass like a real NFL QB to save his life. The only pretty ball he throws is the long ball, and even then he's inaccurate as hell.
He makes horrible decisions in the pocket and I don't know that he will ever be any better because he is just ill-suited to the process of playing QB.
I'm not saying this out of any bitterness, and I acknowledge that Tebow is a good leader who put his team squarely on his shoulders when it counted and won the game for them. But consider what team he did that against...if the season ended today, we would have the first overall pick.
Vince Young did a similar thing in the national championship game against USC; very similar, in fact. Doesn't mean Young can play QB in the NFL. -

I only hope for your sake you guys are counting on him to be the next John Elway...coming from a 40 yr Dolphan, Tebow isn't Elway reincarnate...those guys (our Marino, your Elway) only come along once in a while. The Colts fans are feeling our pain and in a few years the NE fans will also...special QBs don't grow on trees... -
Tim Tebow is not accurate on short passes, or medium range passes, or long passes. He lacks pocket presence, and he does not sense the rush well. He can't ready defenses, and lacks arm strength. He holds the ball too long and does not allow routes to develop.
Other than that, he's great.Fin-Omenal, Nappy Roots, MikeHoncho and 1 other person like this. -

Besides all that, and not to knock you guys at all, but considering who he played against and how poorly he played, I don't think this outing is anything to cheer about, except that you got the W....the sad part is if our D had done it's job (I know, novel idea), then you guy would probably be bashing him for playing so poorly....the last 5 mins of play won't make up for the 55 mins of bad play against a real NFL team...

when it's clutch time, this kid gets it done. he is a winner. even the game before, broncos vs chargers, he almost led you guys back scoring several touchdowns after Orton got benched.
Tebow just needs time to improve, and he needs a team that molds themselves to his abilities. Tebow is great in the play action pass because of his mobility......if the Broncos could get a hold of a really good Tight End, this would help Tebow tremendously. Tebow showed he is great at checking down......
I don't like how everyone insults him. He hasn't really had a chance to prove himself. Give him a shot to improve.... the kid has "it"....... -
Until they tell you he is worse than Sanchez, you are fine.

Tim Tebow wants to be sanchez when he grows up.

If it weren't for Jesus himself, coming down from the heavens, Tebow would've never pulled off that comeback.

He will not make it in the NFL as a QB, when we rushed him for 55 minutes he made Ryan leaf look good, Dansby should have had a pick 6. When we stopped rushing him he looked average.
The game was more about Miami lying down and dieing than Tebow being a NFL QB. -
Marlon Moore made sure he was a winner.
So did Marc Colombo. -
Haha! Just a minor detail -
Tebow, up until the final 2 drives was pathetic. Pathetic doesn't even do that performance justice really. It was the worst QB play I've seen in years. I haven't seen anything that bad since Ray Lucas was here, and I still think Tim was worse than the mess that was Ray Lucas.
His accuracy was terrible, short, medium and long. He missed reads, missed wide open receivers with passes, he didnt sense pressure all to well, and when he did, he immediately though run first, instead of moving out of the pocket with his feet and creating time to try and make a pass play when the D starts to break down as he starts to run. Im sure in time you can coach that part out of him, but the first part, the accuracy, missed reads, missing wide open WR's... thats Tim Tebow. Not a good passer.
Did the comeback surprise me? Not at all. Not because of Tebow, but because of how pathetic our D has been all year long. It was only a matter of time before they collapse. All homerism aside, the comeback was more of a product of the Dolphins D, than it was the ability of Tebow. The Lions will eat him alive next week, and it's going to be amusing as all hell IMO. -
Who do Miami fans hate more, Nacho or Tebow?

I think it's unfair to judge Tebow on one game, personally. I feel like he played terrible the first 55 minutes of the game, but became a new player in those last 5 minutes. I think he can be a starting NFL quarterback.
-
my opinion:
the broncos played very badly, however tebow pulled it out in the end.
you have your franchise qb. he's the next brett favre. just give him this season to develop.
by the way thank you, we need to draft our franchise qb. you've kept us in the running.
all Miami needs is a real head coach & some Luck -
Tebow looked like a right-handed person trying to throw a wet nerf football with his left hand.

Don't you know? He works miracles.
-
You want the honest answer? Awful. For 55 minutes, that was probably the worst QB performance I have ever seen at any level. Since you don't play us anymore, you'll be lucky to win another game this year with him quite frankly. Start watching USC and Oklahoma games. One of those teams holds your future. Start teaching Tebow how to block and catch passes. Tebow has the work ethic, leadership, and heart to make it as an NFL player, it just won't be as a quarterback.

Tim Tebow is the greatest passer the NFL has ever seen. He chooses to overthrow receivers because it makes his comeback victory seem that much more impressive. Blowouts get you to the pro bowl. Comebacks get you to the Hall of Fame.

We do have about 4 or 5 good players on the roster.
