"So, when I met with the Broncos I had a puffy knee."
Hm. interesting. I wonder what the discourse with the dolphins was about the knee. Did they want him to have the surgery. Did they have concerns about his health and were they up front about those. Did they lead him to believe they'd be supportive of him through recovering, then dump him (that would explain his bitterness in some previous interviews, if so). I wish the best for Vonnie. I felt he gave his heart and soul to the team last year and was dumped rather unceremoniously rather than rewarded. It kleft a bad taste in my mouth, to ne honest, depsite being a good business decision in terms of age and cap, etc. The knee makes it make more sense, I guess.
