Wow. He's lucky he didn't complicate the injury further. Should never have been cleared to play, IMO, in the first place.
Its hard to believe such tiny injuries can limit a player so much. Just look at LTs big toe. But the game has progressed to such a point that the speed and accuracy and intensity of it all demands that everything be pretty functional for you to be effective. Its kind of like going from boxing to chess. The nature of the game fundamentally changed for better or worse. Its no long a league where people can just line up and be effective with small injuries sometimes.
Booooo I was surprised he was playing last week given how long Romo was out with a broken finger. I bet the organization is pissed. They were finally giving him a look to see what the future was like, and now they have to go back to Anderson. Wonder what effect, if any, this will have on their future QB plans. Do they keep both of them again next year?
I also heard the RC and the GM are on the hot seat. I heard that the Browns have already contacted Bill Cowher about it. Don't know if it's true, but I heard it somewhere
lol Over/Under 4 months until he has a staff infection. I don't wish any harm on Brady, but I find a lot of pleasure in watching Cleveland's drama. What a mess that franchise is.
That is true, I don't have ill will towards Brady Quinn, I thought he showed guts that night against the Bills, but that Cleveland Facility is like the Andromeda Strain... It's a infection trap, Typhoid Mary wouldn't dare step into the place.
Romeo said Quinn is the starter going into training camp next year. We'll see if Romeo is making that decision come training camp lol. I assume that means they deal Anderson.
Actually heard it on NFL Network also. Their safe for the rest of the season, but when it's over, then we'll see.
There was an article on PFT about it as well. Lol their off-season is going to be interesting. Phil Savage just threw Crennel under the bus when asked about the teams poor play. He said " I just assemble the 53 man roster, the coaches coach them up."
I assume it means he flipped a coin and it landed Quinn. I'm sure he'll flip another between now and then.
yeah that is a shame because they have a quality QB as in Derrick Anderson and their season for all intent and purpose is practically over.... d-1
