This guy was a good prospect coming out, he was a receiving Te His release was typical Browns, Crennel traded up to select him, Mangini cut him in favor a special teams playing Te. http://cdsdraft.com/profile.php?id=658 http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=8401&draftyear=2008&genpos=TE Who knows? The Offense is missing David Martin badly, maybe Ireland and Sparano roll the dice?
I believe he has some injury concerns that need to be looked at. It's worth a look at least I suppose.
Wasn't aware of any injury issues with him? His problem is, in typical Browns fashion he has no practice squad eligibility left so he has to go directly unto a roster. With him, I'm thinking maybe David Martin's replacement? Just more or less a pass catching Te.
I remember him having problems all of last year. Knee problems I believe last year kept him out a few games. I'm just wondering if he brings anymore to the table than Nalbone right now. Is a chance on Rucker worth possibly losing Nalbone to someone else? I agree we need to find an option at TE. I think this team better than anyone realizes right now the importance of a pass catching TE.
Interesting: Which to me means we are invested in Nalbone, but Rucker played everything at MO, RB, WR, FB, TE, sounds like an Eagles type of player
