http://thefinsiders.com/podcasts/2011/bucky-brooks-of-the-nfl-network-and-nfl-com-72011.. Haven't had a Henne thread in a while.. Went back in my boredom and re-rewatched a few more games...The man really can work the whole field, really really strong arm and displays such great velocity combined with accuracy on the intermediate stuff, just the ability to drop set and fire to all spots on the grass is really quite impressive..I think folks have forgot how many good things this guy can do with his right arm, things that other QB's cannot do from a schematic angle.. What I liked about Daboll's offense is his use of the entire field, hes really unpredictable in the sense as to where hes attacking the field on pass plays..I think its a good match. Loved how Brooks mentioned our rookie speedster and how that initself can create the space that could make Henne's right arm that much more lethal, I mean you give Henne some space combined with his velocity, I'am confident that he could shred a defense up.
Daboll has to work with stone feet.... Not a knock just the development has to begin. Thank God the David Lee era is over..... That guy is clueless and to think most Fin fans wanted him to be our next OC.
lol..did you know that if you looked at all the titles on the front page, you will not see Henne's name..except this one... I thought it was a decent interview.. Hey off the topic here KM, you know how we've heard training camp will be delayed 3 days?, were they talking about all camps or just the ones that are suppose to start on friday?, in other words do we still have a chance to start our camp on time?
Well, keep in mind that stuff is what...8 months old? What I mean by that is for Henne to become a quality Starter, he has used this time to improve his game, even if it is only in the technical stuff like play action fakes, footwork, overall athleticism. Henne should be doing what Brandon Marshall has been doing, but for Qb's, like hiring his own Qb coach.
Good post DJ. Brooks is preaching the gospel w/ respect to Henne IMO, even if he's offering an "expert" opinion that most fans could offer if they watched even a few of our games.
