Bush Says He Doubts Bible Literally True I just thought this snippet was intresting: Not quite the response I expected actually.
Okay. I have no qualms with this. I think it's funny all the press this is getting. If they could put an animated title in the newspapers it would be this, and I quote: " Bush Says He Doubts Bible Literally True"
i am not sure anyone has a problem with it. its just everyone thought Bush was very religious, and this comes off as surprising.
This does come as a bit of a surprise considering how "religious" he presents himself. I also don't think this is a big a story as it is being made out to be.
i bet he would be "very religous" if it was an election year damn lying politicians hes like that girlfriend you break up with mutually...and all these skeletons come out lol "hey its over" girlfriend- "well i cheated on you, and you are a bad kisser" etc etc she wouldnt tell me that while were dating

I agree with Sick because there is no way he would have said this if he could still run for President. In fact if he had of said this sooner his chances of getting my vote would have went up (to about 5% ).
i think it's kinda cool bush is saying this. never been a big supporter, but i like how he's more "honest" on his way out.
I don't. That just means he was being dishonest while in. I know we just think politicians are liars so it's okay, but things shouldn't have to be that way. It's not a Bush bash, just saying I'd respect him more if he stuck to his guns even after presidency.
Wow...next thing you know he'll say that he thinks "intelligent design" is the farce that most people already believe it is.
newsflash: bush is not as religious as he has presented himself. every president since carter has had to look more religious than they probably really are.
