I have an interview tomorrow and they said dress business professional, now does that mean suit or jacket? Or just dress shirt and tie?

If you want to dress to impress...go with a suit. A regular workday could be just a shirt and tie.

You cant go wrong, EVER, with a full suit. If you have one, what is the problem?

Well I don't have one, that's the problem. Definitely don't have the money for one either

I have tons of nice dress clothes, just no full suits

I believe the least you can get by with for business professional is without a jacket. tie, slacks, button up shirt with a collar. If you have all those try to borrow a jacket for the day or go to burlington and by something cheap off the rack.

I believe business professional is just slacks, a nice shirt, and tie.

But before I started really looking for a job/career, I invested in a nice looking suit (IMO) and I really couldn't suggest it enough. Most guys should have at least one for various reasons. You can get nice suits and matching shoes for $150 or less.

Edit: Then again any suit you get you should get tailored IMO. Which might run you like another $40 or so (I can't recall how much it cost me).

Or even Goodwill or the Salvation Army. You can sometimes find real nice jackets there.

    Look like this:

And you've got yourself a job anywhere.

Seriously though, you can't go wrong with a shirt and tie. A dark combination always works.

Since it is such short notice just do the best you can. Full suit with tie, jacket with tie and slacks/khakis, tie and sweater and slacks. All with collared shirts.

A suit just shows that you care, even if overdressed. Two things to show up with to any interview. A nice suit and tie, and extensive knowledge of the company you are being interviewed for.
