I would like to say I hope we win but if we win does this mean we will lose by keeping Sparano and Ireland ? i dont want to go through another season of fist pumps and field goals . Does a win today mean we will be stuck with these guys for another year or two ? A win today makes things peaceful in the locker room in my mind . will this team score more then 14 points today ? the worse thing for miami is to win 7 games if we are going to look at drafting qb, if Henne is the answer then our first pick will be a defensive end so I am just trying to figure out how many wins or losses for a new gm and a new coach to be hired.
While I don't believe that one win means Tony stays, every loss counts in the race for the #1 draft pick.
I probally should have rephrased the question and just asked how many wins will it take for him and Ireland to keep their jobs or how many losses will it take for them to lose their jobs. Pumpdogs pretty much answers my original question. man I am having a bad day today BUT Detroit just mad a unbeleivable comback and our former fin Bobby Carpenter got a big int for a td.
Fake fans wanting to lose, true fans stick by their teams. Maybe these fans should take up bowling and forget about the Dolphins.
Or maybe we kinda want what could potentially be much better for our team and are willing to endure the short-term pain of losing. Either way Miami either starts to come back and reorganize today or they really start to slide. Works for me. I mean clearly we're fake fans. This is the first time the Dolphins have sucked. It's clearly, the team sucks and we abandon ship right. All those winning seasons that's the reason that we stayed. Wait what? We've sucked for a while? Oh wow I hadn't noticed. Maybe I should quit right now since I'm a fake fan?
I'm sorry but nothing really qualifies you to decide between 'true' fans and 'fake' fans. Tony Sparano would have to make a miraculous run at this point to save his job beyond this season. A run he does not have the ability to make.
Some of you guys kill me. By no means do I have a slobbering love affair fo Tony Sparano like some of you seem to have for Andrew Luck, but I'm almost willing to bet that if I went and did some digging, some of you with this slobbering man crush for Luck were the same guys who complained about pre-Sparano personnel decisions (Wannstadt/Saban) that were going to set our team back some 10 years. I know there are many of you hoping we lose every game this season so we can get the number one pick and draft your un-proven, multi-million dollar bench riding golden boy, but I...a TRUE Dolphins fan hope we win out the rest of the season, make the playoffs, Go to Indianapolis and win the Super Bowl. I'd rather have Henne and a Super Bowl Championship....than lose out the rest of the season to draft what could be another Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell, Matt Leinart orJoey Harrington.
