That dumbass Saints defender cost his team the win by hurling the receiver out of bounds. .....aided by two terrible ref calls that netted NE 6 points.
I'm sick to my stomach.... with that said ... that was masterful by Brady... Still think he's the best in the league.
Don't think I'll be watching ESPN or NFL Network at all this week. Don't want to hear about this. For me this is as close to a Dolphins loss as you can get.
Until Brady retires we'll always be chasing them. That guy is just too damn good. He does this with one of the worst receiving core in the league.
As much as we all hate this, this is what good teams do. The Dolphins would not have done that. Somehow the patriots have been great for over a decade and Miami can't get past being mediocre. Its so frustrating
I NEVER want to read or hear about all the Dolphin fans that leave a game when time is left on the clock. Half the Patriot fans left the stadium game after the Brady interception and look what happened. So obviously fans giving up on their team while they still have a chance to win the game doesn't only happen in Miami. I'm sure none of those fans who left and gave up on their team are going to admit it when they go to work tomorrow. LOL
The guy knows how to win.. Look around the league, not many like him... Peyton, flacco, Rogers, none of them can hold a candle to Brady... The guy has rings... Is RT ever gonna be close or is he jes another feedler... Playoffs n bust...
Tom Brady is great and all, but he did have a decade to throw. You give good QBs time to throw, and you're gonna lose. Simple as that.
Going for a passing play instead of having the Patriots use a timeout was really stupid by Sean Payton.
Pats are either the luckiest fourth down team or the best. 4th and 4 and the saints don't even contest the play. Can't count on losers like that to be consistant. I think they are going to the crapper. Without Graham, Brees looks average.
Brady's gonna get a ton of credit throughout the week for this, but dude has ages to find a receiver back there. He still makes good decisions and has a lot of talent, but plenty of QBs can look awesome when you constantly give them a ton of time to throw.
Saints rushed three that last drive after the Saints were blitzing all game AND getting to Brady... and the dumbass Saint that threw his tackle out of bounds should be fired immediately. The last 3 and half minutes took like 30 minutes in real time.
Nice job playing conservative in the end Saints. At least our Wild Card hopes were helped today. It's not like we're likely to win the division anyway with no O-Line and no Run game. But if the passing game continues to play well (and stops the dropsies) and the D keeps teams out of the endzone we can get a WC spot.
Right, a fraction of the QB's around the league can lead a team 70 yards downfield in a minute and 20 seconds, and a fraction can actually make the throws he made. That last throw isn't made by anyone with an arm and good offensive line. It's only made by the three elite - Peyton, Brady and Brees. All the other quarterbacks are several tiers below them.
We could still win the division. We just need to beat the Pats when we play them. I don't see the Pats winning that game in the Saints dome on MNF.
I agree that he has a lot of time to throw, but overall his receiving corp at this time has to be one of the worst in the entire NFL. Only a great QB like Brady, and perhaps Peyton Manning could make those guys look even half way decent. If Tannehill had receivers who dropped as many balls as Brady does, this forum would literally be on fire after games.
Easily the "decision" of the game....over 2 min but 1 TO left, as the Saints you must run it, or shuffle pass, or screen, anything that is a guaranteed clock running play, and force NE to make the decision to use last TO prior to FG attempt, or run the clock down to 2 min warning and save just 1 clock stoppage play...its 29 sec. What a difference the extra TO and the 29 sec gave NE there. Gift!
Bull****. any QB can have a game winning drive, and any QB can look stellar when afforded an eternity to throw. Freaking Geno Smith looked like a stud last week vs the Falcons. I'm not taking anything from Brady. He is awesome. However he's gonna get praised this week like the second coming, when he did get all the time in the world to make plays.
