The good times continued to roll on Monday as Wake, 29, spent all day going through the NFL Network “car wash,” appearing on several segments on NFL Total Access.
In the first clip, Wake discussed his team’s disappointing 2010 season and what lies ahead in 2011.
Wake was asked about the Dolphins’ biggest deficiencies on defense and offense, and his answer was “consistency.” Of course, Wake also was asked about quarterback Chad Henne, and said “I stand behind the guy.”
“To have him go out there and be nervous or second-guess his arm is something I think would make the situation worse,” Wake said. “I stand behind the guy with full confidence in him, take us forward into the season.”
Wake was also asked what he and his teammates thought about the bizarre situation in January with his coaches, in which owner Stephen Ross interviewed Jim Harbaugh but ultimately decided to keep Tony Sparano as his head coach. Wake praised Sparano for remaining cool throughout the ordeal.
