For me, Wake is a bit of a trailblazing player, he is showing that the CFL does have talented defensive players who can make the jump to the NFL.

Warren Moon showed enough, even though he was offensive I don't think people by-and-large felt/feel CFL Offensive talent is at a hugely different level than CFL defensive talent.
People always knew the CFL had some talent.
But Wake is a rare elite talent. MVP level.

Kind of, I asked about Ricky Foley, whether he kept anything from his first season in Miami (wake kept and still has his first pair of Air Jordans) and whether or not he was a trailblazer for CFL defenders transitioning to the NFL.
John Chick being Dwight Freeney's #1 backup was surely not lost on Cam.
