Is he really already 30? How old was that guy when he was drafted?

Why not let Will Davis compete for the starting job? Free safety may suit him better than corner, anyways. He fails to adequately press starting-caliber receivers, and can't mirror them in one-on-one. Yet, the coaches have proclaimed that he's a ballhawk - always seeming to be in the right place at the right time. Moving him to FS could mask some of his flaws that come out at the corner position, and allow him to play the field with a ballhawking mentality. Just my two cents.

Free safety is the last line of defense. Above all, it requires a dependable, reliable tackler. Ball skills are great, but if he cannot consistently tackle one on one in the open field, he is worthless as a base free safety.
