Rooting for the chargers this week?!

i am a big fan of LT and if he is healthy then i think they have a decent shot at taking out the Patriots. Even though the were blown out in week to by the pats, i think they are a much better team not especially with chambers. i would love to see green bay and san diego in the superbowl. that would be a great game to watch. anyone with me?

yeah, but i seriously dont think its gonna happen... Indy had a better chance to beat NE than San Diego has... And Rivers and LT both injured. If they dont play I predict a 35-7 score. Unfortunately i think its gonna be up to Favre to hold up our legacy

Just beat the Patsies please! With such a crappy year it was even more painful watching them win with ex fin players. Please, can we just not trade away good people too a team we have too face twice? The Tuna will know better than Cammy Cameron.

I want the Chargers to beat the Patriots, then to lose in the Bowl, but Chambers to have excellent games throughout. :)

I live in San Diego so them winning the bowl shall make it unbearable for me, for years to come ...

We traded and released them because they sucked when they were here. Sammy Smith would be a Hall of famer on the ratriots team

I am a big fan of any team playing the Pats. Go Chargers this week! Go Giants or Pack if necessary!

I want Green Bay to win it all.
I must admit I was one who said Farve should just retire.
I'm very happy for the guy proving a lot of people, including myself, wrong.
What a way to end a HOF career.

That would be nice indeed, to go full circle against the Patriots once more.

Although I hope it doesn't go that far. Favre can just beat up on the Chargers for all I care.

I dunno, the Bolts may be hurt, but this may be an advantage. When guys go down, more often than not the rest of the team plays better for the backups; because they know they have no one to lean on.

I'm actually rooting against them. Bush league Rivers yelling at fans and frail LT. I hope Brady and company run it up on them.

San Diego winning would lower our late-2nd rounder, but I don't care.

I'm a lifelong Dolphins fan and our most prized possession (1972 team) is somewhat on the line here. I mean, we can always say that we were the "first" but it's a great feeling to remain the only. I don't care which team it may be -- I will root for ANY TEAM that played against New England as if they're the Dolphins!

But I can actually be happy for San Diego as a whole if they somehow win it all. LT deserves it, as does Merriman, Gates, Phillips, Rivers, etc. -- especially Chris Chambers.

Rivers is becoming bush league. His team is gassing him up bigtime. QBs in general should be classy and reserved IMO.

If it does happen to be Pats and Packers in Super Bowl, then maybe the Packers will get the calls in that game. Everybody loves Farve, so I think he would be the sentimental favorite in the game.

I hate the Patriots because of their arrogance from people like Tom Brady and Bellicheat. If they won with class and were a team of humble guys it would be one thing but they're all classless jerks.

frail LT. frail LT. FRAIL LT! 1 hyper-extended knee doesnt make him frail. he has never in his 7 year career had a major injury (knock on wood) in his whole career. he is the most dependable RB in the league. plus even a LT with a little soreness for a hyper-extended knee is much better than ANY RB in the league

I would love to see Rivers yelling at Brady on the field, after he was sacked for the eighth and intercepted for the fourth time during the game. That would be so funny. Absolutely classless, but funny nonetheless

They can't beat them. We're going to have to sit back and watch NE "make history" and then listen to the media continue to verbally felate the coach and team for at least nine more months. This is disgusting, this season has taken a lot of my passion for the NFL away to be honest. Seeing a cheater about to achieve something he has no business achieving is the tip of the iceburg. 1-15 was bad enough without this Pats garbage going on.

I hope the Pats crush SD and sack that idiot 20 times.

It will be warm in Foxboro for the game too, a toasty 20 degrees with wind chills at and below 0. Weather will definitely play a factor this Sunday.

Last I checked both teams have to play in the same weather...I think weather is just an excuse for teams when they get beat.

    Re:

Acclimatization is a fact of life. There was a reason the Dolphins, up until rather recently, were invulnerable during the early part of the season. Teams wilted in the South Florida heat in September, even after spending the entire month of August practicing in similar conditions.
Good Bucs' teams could never win cold weather games, when the thermometer hit 34 degrees, the Bucs would lose, every single time. Heat, humidity, cold and altitude are handicaps for teams not accustomed to playing in those conditions. That's hardly a controversial statement.

When have the Patriots conducted themselves without class? Belichick rarely says anything, and when he speaks it's always complimentary toward the other team. When Shula shot his mouth off and made a fool of himself earlier in the year about the Patriots going undefeated, Belichick responded by telling the world he idolized Shula growing up. Brady is the same way. He's never uttered a single comment I'm familiar with that could conceivably be interpreted as classless. When has Richard Seymour, or Junior Seau, or Rosevelt Colvin, or Mike Vrabel ever conducted themselves with less than 100% decorum? I've seen guys like Freddie Mitchell, Terrell Owens, Anthony Smith, Igor Olshansky, and Shawn Merriman talk trash, and show disrespect to the Patriots before games, and I've watched guys like Rodney Harrison, Tom Brady and Richard Seymour politely ignore the
comments, or just smile and crack a joke about it. Even Randy Moss stands up at the podium after games and just says the same thing every time--we're focused on next week, I love playing with Tom, blah, blah, blah. The Patriots' classlessness is in your imagination. It's a necessary fiction invented by those who seek out justifications for their own pettiness and jealousy.
