I run a windows/linux dual boot, so I have a safe haven in linux.
Yesterday I booted up my Pc in windows, and I saw a pic on my desktop that I had never seen before, and I new it was "fishy" so I scanned it and it came up clean so i opend it up to see what it was. When enlarged it it was an old black and white picture of 1800's era ramshackle house with the widows smashed and the door cracked, to where to could see a figure and a light. Mind you this picture looked legit. So i new something was up and I got a phony antivirus popup message, which led me to believe this might be 2 different viruses. So I booted in safe mode did a system restore, ran my anti virus, and It came up clean. So I went on about with my business. Then I heard noise coming from my headphones and I listened to a it and it was a raspy voice w/static. So now I was pissed that someone is going out of their way to jack with me. I have been searching for any clue on how this prick is doing this or if anyone has ever heard of this before. I have been using my linux os and so far so good. But I have not booted into windows because i don't want my montier to start bleeding.
Any advice or clue you could give me would be nice, mind you though I am not tech savy. Oh and it wont let me run a factory restore from my back up disk.

Dude.
That's no virus.
Sounds like a haunting.
Have a shiner look at your computer.

Ever seen "Drag me to hell"? The goat demon is after you...
Apart from the anti virus scans, do you have any roommates that'd want to mess with you? Sounds like a good old fashioned prank to me
