Can we talk playoffs?

1 New England 11-2
2 Pittsburgh 10-3
3 Kansas City 8-5
4 Jacksonville 8-5
5 NY Jets 9-4
6 Baltimore 8-4
7 San Diego 7-6
8 Indianapolis 7-6
9 Miami 7-6
I expect San Diego to go 10-6 and the Chiefs to end up 10-6 out of the picture because of a poor AFC record. The Colts and Jacksonville will tie most likely. The Jets are likely getting in still. There's no way Miami can outpace them unless they somehow lost to Buffalo at home at the end of what would be a five game losing streak. The Baltimore Ravens are vulnerable but we'll see if they even start to lose. Still an uphill battle.
Bring this man back into the fold if you want some real leadership on this team.
With the way we have played(or not played) offense the past 2 weeks...playoffs seem to be the least of our concerns. Today was painful to watch on the offensive side of the ball
When you struggle to generate 2 digit stats on offense in a 4th Quarter...Really? We're going to talk Playoffs?
I'll be surprised and happy if we make it, but...There is no way this is a playoff team.

Not with Henne or Henning. Not a chance. Why bother.
.
the play-offs are a good thing & we can dream
maybe we could run the WildCat with Thigpen?

Ravens aren't going to lose at home against Cincy or @Cleveland...just not happening, and since they have the tiebreaker with both MIA and NYJ, they're pretty much in. As for the Jets, only way you beat them out is if the Bills pull off a miracle at the meadowlands.
You're all Bills fans now, tbh.

We can talk playoffs until we are mathematically eliminated.
Jests still have the Steelers, Bears and Bills. Hell, they may lose all three. Now, that doesn't mean that we win our next three, but we match up well with the Bills and Lions and the Pats have swept the Dolphins only once in the last 10 years and we always play them tough (well, when our ST's don't give the game away). With the way our defense is playing right now I think we can beat any team in the league.

seriously guys, stop wasting your time dreaming of the playoffs. we'd have to win every single game and have other teams do poorly to get in.
You really think we're marching into New England and pulling a win out? Patriots are the best team in the conference right now, Brady is playing lights out and they are unbeatable at home. We played great defense today against a really crappy offense. Enjoy the win, but don't kill yourself dreaming of the playoffs.
testing
Shoot no. Our offense is Godawful and shows no signs of improvement and our last game is against the freaking Patriots who pretty much look unbeatable. If we make 8-8 we should consider ourselves lucky.

Pats game is the one I'm worried the least about. I fully expect them to be resting starters, having wrapped up home field advantage.
What the hell? What the **** do Henne and Henning have to do with it other than playing next week? Dolphins finish 10-6, we compare records and see what happens. Also there's the odd chance that the Jets lose to Buffalo in week 17. Jacksonville dropping out of that picture is something I can easily see. San Diego and Baltimore though? That's tough.
Heck I just hope the Jets go into a monster tailspin.
Bring this man back into the fold if you want some real leadership on this team.
Realistically why would you want the Phins to be in the playoffs? They'll just end up being embarrassed by our depressing offense.

They could easily lose to Cleveland. Another problem is in the West where I think San Diego has a tie-breaker on Miami.

EXACTLY!!! awesome post !! ... but sadly enough i still hang on to that glimmer of hope - just to be heartbroken yet again
I'm sorry but hoping for the Ravens to go 1-3 against teams with a combined record of 21-29 is completely unrealistic.

An anemic Jests offense, who was 6-6 at one point last season, made it to the AFCCG. I would much rather make the payoffs than not.
Anything can, and usually does, happen in the playoffs.

First, let's keep this as the ONLY playoff thread. It seems every time people get excited about possible playoffs, Phins come out and lose like last year against Bills and then Texans/Titans/Steelers. And then this year against the Browns.
Hope the Ravens lose two more and then we'll see what happens. Need the Jets to still lose three, or lose two if one is to the Bills. And Dolphins need to win out of course.

The losses against the Steelers and Browns will keep us out of the playoffs this year.
@KevinMD4
I don't think we will make it, but I dont see the Jets making it either
Be hilarious if San Diego loses to San Francisco in a surprise, Miami finds it's way in and spanks Kansas City.
Bring this man back into the fold if you want some real leadership on this team.
No chance in H-E double hockey sticks this team makes the playoffs. They won today but that offensive performance was embarassing.
