Miami Dolphins special teams captain and coach Sporano's favorite player Patrick Cobbs has landed a deal that sends him to the New Orleans Saints. I don't know about you guys but he was one of my favorite players, the way he worked in practice and the leadership he showed on the field. He will be missed, good for him wish him the best.

Was never a fan, thought he was just a wasted roster spot that had a couple big plays out of the wildcat.

He won't be playing running back there. Always a great special teams guy though.

And not just somewhere but a team that might put him to really good use. Would not surprise me at all to see him end up with a handful of receiving TDs this year.

He is very versatile player and will fit in well with the Saints which will be his third SB contender after the Pats and Steelers.Good luck to him.

Everyteam needs players like Patrick Cobbs. Like it or not these are the types of guys that teams are made of, maybe not a starter, but a guy that is willing to do anything you ask of him and do it well.

    Good Luck Mr. Cobbs!

Glad he found a job, but also glad it is not in Miami. Don't need any RBs who are mediocre at doing the primary thing a RB does, running the ball. Yeah he was versatile and all, but with very average skills at all the things he was versatile at. Definitely won't miss those exciting moments known as a Cobbs kickoff return...15 yds and a cloud of dust.

I thought he did OK in the few opportunities he had,he seemed to give effort on every play which isn't always the case with players.

Have to think with Sproles already there he may be there as fast short guy insurance.

    Now we can sign Stinchomb.

I have no clue how those relate, but I want Stinchomb and the Saints are mentioned here.... so.

    Just sayin'
