Henne: Did they ever chant "We want Orton!" at Practice this year?" Tannehill: No, but thats because I dont suck.
Hey Chad, thanks for taking the pressure off me. If it wasn't for you this stadium wouldn't be a ghost town. Instead, I get to feel like I'm playing in a preseason game which is a lot easier for a rookie like me.
Don't understand mocking the Jags. I guess in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king. I mean, the only team to beat the Jags and score fewer points than us was the Jets, so what domination are we crowing about? We beat a poor team. I am glad we won, but the mood here is odd and we may be giving ourselves too much credit and feelings of superiority. Stay classy San Diego. I realize this is a bit off topic, so sorry, Frum, for brining it up here, but the tone I've been sensing from fans and posters after this victory Has been showing through here and there in comments and I just wanted to say something, somewhere. I love captioning threads, so let's get back to that.
Because we can? The jags suck. We aren't great but right now we are better than half the afc. If we didn't blow those two overtime games early on (carpenter!!!) we'd be in this thing. Tannehill played great while henne played like henne. (by that I mean henne actually looked fine but didn't make his team any better with his play, so...exactly like he was here) It's been a rough couple games. It was nice to see a good performance out of the offense. I don't care who came against.
Ryan Tannehill: Man this must be surreal for you. I've only got three wins in this stadium, hopefully four after today, ha ha. You must have like a ton more. Chad Henne: Five. Ryan Tannehill: Only five? Oh that's cuz you played in the Orange Bowl back then that's right. Chad Henne: No. Ryan Tannehill: Oh. Maybe you'll have better luck in the NFC. Chad Henne: I'm still in the AFC.
Henne: When I played here there was this one fan named Toddphins who literally wanted to sniff my jock. Tannehill: Yeah, same here! Except he goes by Phinsational.
Henne: "Want to make a Christmas card with me?" Tannehill: "Not so much... and that better be a football in your other hand."
Chad's Answer: Overrated!!! Henne with Miami Dolphins and no Brandon Marshall (Ginn, Camarillo, Hartline, Bess): 314 comp, 525 att, 3,426 yards, 15 TD, 18 int, 74.35 QB rating...record as starter = 8-7 and 24.4 ppg Henne with Miami Dolphins and Brandon Marshall to throw to: 332 comp, 540 att, 3,688 yards, 16 TD, 19 int, 76.99 QB rating...record as starter = 5-11 and 17.4 ppg Henne with Jaguars and Blackmon/Shorts to throw to: 112 comp, 216 att, 1,438 yards, 8 TD, 5 int, 75.73 QB rating...record as starter = 1-3 and 10.33 ppg hmm...maybe QB rating actually reflects the QB's level of play?
Nice job. A) it's caption time. Try following the rules. B) I said "legitimate receiver", not "what's it like playing with 2 straight putrid unsupportive rushing offenses with Olines that can't protect for crap". So as to not derail this thread, here's a link for you, Adam. http://www.thephins.com/forums/showthread.php?70937-2013-NFL-Draft-Thread/page7 start at post #136 and then proceed through all the examples I list on that page and the next.
Henne: phinsational seems really upset that Adam didn't follow the caption rules exactly like he wanted him to. Tannehill: I know. I hope he will get over it someday.
