Publicity stunt, or first steps towards more females being hired to coach in the NFL?

I don't see any real reason why women couldn't coach at a high level, as even for men it's not necessary to have played the game to be a good coach (although it might help), but I expect acceptance among players and perhaps other coaches may be a barrier she'll need to overcome. But as it's an internship for the pre-season, is it more of a publicity stunt than genuine move?

I'll give the Cards the benefit of the doubt for now.

She has 14 years of experience in professional football (IFL/WFA), she is the first non-kicker female pro football player (IFL), she played Rugby at Boston College. Not only is she qualified.....it's a shame it's taken so long. Good for her.
